His gaze lowers at his brother's reaction, but his smile widens in unashamed joy as he straightens back into almost a pure vision of propriety. The slap to his shoulder actually earns a quiet chuckle - his cheeks might even be a little pink!
"We have to be careful, da ge, but yes." He would prefer not to anger those who had taken such good care of him. And falling for one of their servants definitely fell into that category. But he can't deny his heart...or his beloved's.
